You say by the end of the "Houston Rocket's" season? Well, if the past few seasons are any indication, then this one is easy... Jordan Eglseder Alexander Johnson Mike Harris Antonio Anderson Ishmael Smith
I'm going to assume we "go to war" with the guys we have, instead of putting players in my response who may, or more likely, may not be acquired by Morey and the Rockets. I'm also going to assume that Adelman will continue to make it hard for a bench player to unseat a starter, which has been his MO here, in my opinion, absent a deal that shakes things up. So here's mine: 1 - Brooks 2 - Martin 3 - Battier 4 - Scola 5 - Yao I was very tempted to put Chase at the three spot by the end of the season, which may happen if he drastically improves his defense. I left Shane there because we need his defense, but I think his minutes will be in the mid-20's. If there is a deal, then obviously this will change!
just saying, but Randolph would suck at the 3. but my guess would be lowry/rubio martin/smith anthony/lee Scola/hayes Yao/miller we give up brooks, budinger, hill, jeffries and battier and oour 2012 first pick picks in a 3 team trade in which we get j.r smith and carmelo then we trade our 2 n.y picks for the rights to rubio? lol that last part was just whatever, but you never know
P.G. - Calvin Murphy S.G. - Clyde Drexler S.F. - Tracy McGrady ('04-'05 model) P.F. - Hakeem Olajuwon ..C. - Moses Malone Aaaand win. Beat that all-time Rockets team!
Oh, I so hope I am wrong, but my gut tells me that Yao won't be on the list. No jinks, just facing the statistical probabilities square in the face. Seriously, can a foot which is essentially screwed together endure the continuous pounding of 300 lbs through even 50-60 NBA games. Frankly, I can't imagine that happening, BUT, I hope it does.
