    Defensively,he will help but not on offense. Rotating Scolandry plus Hayes helped us out a lot. Patterson is a good player,but it will take time before he can settle in. Hill will have to make progress.

    I hope he doesn't injure himself. Without Scola this line up is almost as bad as with Yao out.

    We already know he is starting so its easy. Just play him the fewest minutes besides Yao as a starter in preseason. Then give him minutes of rest early in the season. The team can handle it.

    Lol. Hill is getting destroyed by D-League scrubs, Hayes has proven he's better at short spurts off the bench than starter minutes, and Patrick Patterson is a rookie that still needs a lot of time to develop in the NBA.

    That being-said the only thing keeping Scola in the NBA is heart and hustle...

    Scola is a workhorse. He will be okay. But I agree we should give him some rest early on...
