Yep. For realz. Att U-verse is the best. I had Comcast and it sucked big time with customer service and channels freezing up or not working. U-verse has everything and its cheaper for some package deals. Got all FSN channels, ESPNs, multiview sports channels, and NFL network. I was even able to afford the HD package becaujse the cost went down from Comcast.

I just got an email from Ygnition (uses dish) regarding this issue. Said Fox wants to raise rates by 50%.

I'll give DISH til one week prior to season starting. Then it's back to DirecTV. I've had DISH for so long I'm not on any contract still. Nice company and all, but sheesh. Rockets games are a deal breaker.

I think you can get out of it for free if you try.

You signed up for FOX, if FOX isnt being delivered thats a breach of contract.

U verse has some good deals. You may be able to get 100 of that 200 back spread out over the 8 months -- chances are you will be paying less per month

I have DISH network but don't have the sports package. How much do you guys pay to get to watch the Rockets?? What's the package called?? DISH Network Multi-Sports Package with NFL RedZone?? I heard it's black out if you're not Houston? So if i live outside of Texas, i should not be ordering this package, right?

Doesn't matter, you CAN'T watch the Rockets on Dish unless you live outside the Houston Market and have League Pass.

If I'm not mistaken, this would be a violation of Anit-Trust laws

living outside texas means you have to order the league pass to watch rox. i don't believe any other sports package will give you rox games.

You need to have the multi-sports package in order to watch all of the local teams i.e. if you live in Houston and want to watch the Rockets you need the multi-sports package. If you get the multi-sports package outside of Houston you will only be able to watch the teams in your area.
