Usually, I'd start 2K off with playing online.... This year, I'm going to do franchise mode first, then my player for a couple of days, then I'll probably start to play online. I want to enjoy the full experience of the game early. Should be fun though.... on Tuesday.
Is anybody going to the gamestop midnight sale of the game on Monday. I'm tempted, but I don't want my ass to get jump, so I'm just gonna wait til Tuesday.
I was also tempted but i have no class on tuesday, so i will pick up first thing in the morning. Then again, never say never, i may get hyped at the last minute.
I may have screwed myself in the "My Player" mode. After about 10 games on the Magic, I became the starter replacing Vince Carter. I started getting recognition and the Rockets and 76ers became interested in me for a trade. I requested a trade to the Rockets ONLY and all of a sudden the Rockets are off the list and I'm traded to the 76ers, one of the worst records in the league. Gaah, the Rockets so far are first in the Western Conference too, it would have been perfect. I would have been satisfied staying on the Magic as well. It's sort of funny, my guy is the 25th pick and I'm already starting over Evan Turner.
ya, my guy is also on the Magic. Similar situation for me, but I didn't get traded. I started in the Rockets circuit...but was dropped and picked up by the Magic.
Did you go today? I meant to go there and check out the pizza place next to it, but I ended up staying in Sugar Land all day
OMG, I can't sit still after that review! Looks like I'm going to LOVE the My player mode! I hated how I became the MVP in my rookie season and was the best player going by overall rating by the end of the second season. It didn't feel challenging at all. This on the other hand sounds simply awesome!
Yea stopped by today no luck...rumor has it that Sears will sell it early . Going to check it out today!

I have heard the same about sears. I know the Toys r Us sometime breaks street dates but i have only seen in movies.
I have friends in New York who got COD MW2 2 weeks early. You need to be looking at family owned game stores and video rental places. They usually get games early and if they are cool enough willl sell it early. Often you can write a check and forward the date until the launch so they wont get caught. Won't work at main chain stores because if they are known to be doing such things, the game company will call the store and act as if they are a customer looking for the game. When the company sells it, they will no longer be allowed to hold games from that company or receive games early in general. I know of a friend around here who gets from the back at Walmart.
