    he may be a PR disaster for the league, but i'm sure the cavs fans appreciate the owner expressing the same feelings that they have. facing a horrible season both on the court and in the bank, what else can an owner do to keep fans but show them that they aren't alone. I bet by doing this he's actually keeping some cavs fans loyal to the team.

    It's probably not the brightest thing Dan can do, but you gotta admit, there's some truth in what he actually says.

    Whether it's appropriate for him to say it, is a whole other issue.

    I'm OK with him saying that. Like smoothie said, I bet the fans appreciate it. Plus, all he really said was LeBron is an *******, which is true.

    You nailed it. It's all PR. Gilbert is probably terrified of going from being a leader in attendance to being near the bottom. It's not just about tickets, either. Fans need to show up and buy things.
