Kobe said it without hesitation. I assume LeBron would reply the same but I don't think he would be as believable as that.

Ohhh no Kobe!!!!! Don't you know he's taking mental notes!!!!!!

LeBron might grab his elbow and call Wade after he realizes he can't beat Kobe

They should have a 1-1 tournament during the all star game.

I dont doubt it. Kobe has a better jumper which makes him harder to guard in one-on-one.

How did Lebron make Kobe likable?

sounds like a good idea.. but for players there is no upside and unlimited downside (i.e., losing face).

definitely not likable but skill wise 1 on 1, Kobe would win, and I hate Kobe.

Oh yeah? Well LeBrons posse could take Kobe 3-on-1.

    That would be awesome.

Kobe would win it. Too many moves, too much competitiveness. Maybe Wade would give it a run since he's got a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

I really do think a 1v1 game. Kobe would in fact win. In a 1v1 game, Kobe's jumpshot would benefit more than Lebron's athleticism.

In a 1v1 game, there's no touch foul, Kobe will win easily. LeBron has a chance if he could take Kobe to the post and use his big frame. Too bad he got no move there at all.

If I'd bet my life to take a player play 1v1 against Kobe, I'll choose Melo.

Durant would be a beast in a 1 on 1 tournament too.

I'd easily take Durant or Kobe over Lebron in a 1 on 1.

They used to have 1 on 1 contest during the All Star break back then. I wish they bring it back.

BRING BACK THE 1 on 1 tournament for All Star break STERN!!!

Strength and rebounding are gigantic advantages in 1-on-1, I could see LeBron backing him down to the basket and cleaning up any misses fairly handily. And before anyone says that LeBron doesn't have a post game, it's a lot easier to post up when there are no help defenders around.

I mean they have HORSE for the All Star break for god's sake. It wouldn't hurt to have a 1 on 1 contest. I think people much rather see a 1 on 1 competition with Chris Paul vs Deron William, or Lebron vs Kobe, or Roy vs Joe Johnson.

That will bring some extra exciting entertainment on the All Star break.
