This is not good to hear about a 30 year old.

Prob many NBA players feel the same way without Summer games anyway, but Summer games will make it worse

I'm not surprised at all. He is overworked,it's a miracle that he didn't sustain an injury. I expect a slow start from him. We don't have the luxury of having Landry. It will take Patterson time to adapt to the NBA. Hill has got a long way to go as well.

This was predictable. Scola played whole games not being substituted, very physical games with all the defenses focused on him. Coach Sergio Hernandez truly showed no mercy to the Rockets. Scola seemed really tired at the end of the games so imagine now, it's like finish a hard playoffs and start inmediately another season. Gasol decided to rest this summer after having physical problems during the year due to these circunstances, maybe next year it's Scola's time for it.

They should give him some time to rest.

I think this is more mental than physical. He's simply got nothing to compete for against Hayes/2Pat/Hill/Harris/Johnson. None of those guys are going to threaten his position as a starter but at the same time those guys are going all out against him.

If I were the Rockets I would give Scola 10 days off..... He has been playing all summer at a high level of competition which is something no one else on the team can say. I dont think the team would have a problem with that.

well damn Scola Im glad youre caring more about youir national team than your professional team thats investing half of a 100 million dollars for you... I think its a slap in the face to continuously play every summer, havent he learned anything from Yao and his close friend Manu?

now after his big contract hear about how hes worn out EVERY year from playing all year around, thank you for caring to be 100 % the entire season.. if he hits a wall this year just give a bulk of his minutes to P2 and J-Hill until he gets his act 2gether and maybe trade him at the deadline if P2 proves to be the future we expect him to be

So the guy took on more this past year then ever before as a rocket, played in the summer, and we're basically saying he can't/shouldn't be tired or say he is?

I dont see the concern. Like he said, usually it's not like this, so something changed. That something was Yao's injury and lack of depth at the 4/5. That's taken care of enough where he won't go through it again and he should see a dip in his minutes this year.

C'mon guys.. Give the guy a break.. He always gives 100% on the floor.. Never seen him slacking off.. Do not hate him for being patriotic.. Do you guys blame durant for winning the championship for the US this year? Guess not huh..

Just give him the rest he needs.. I don't think this guy in particular needs to prove himself..

Don't be surprised if Scola get a season ending injury by the end of this year.
