Excellent comparison. I really, really hope we don't trade this guy, I think he has all the tools to be something special for us.

I didn't get to see him at all in summer league play but that would awesome. I heard he has a good outside shot as well... Do you see any Antawn Jamison in his makeup? They are both 6'9 and 235ish. just wondering.

Antawn Jamison in his makeup? No, not Jamison whose defence was too bad.

This is exactly how i see him turning out. Exactly like an Artest type defender with a good mid-range and 3 point shot. ;)

I just finished watching the YouTube highlights and it seems that 2pat has much more of a power game than Jamison. He seems more explosive than what I had expected, but also smooth with his post plays ( ie bank shots ). I didn't get to see any of the poorer performances, but from what I saw, Patterson looks like a steal at #14!

Remember that Morey said he was #6 on their board, and that we've never had a pick this high during the Morey regime. Brooks was 26, Landry was 33, Budinger in the 40's. Patterson is 14. I expect the world of this guy.

There is absolutely no reason why Patterson should not at least get 10-15 mpg.

He is an instant contributer, and I would be pissed if Hill got his minutes just by default.

If this dude is better than Landry in Morey's eyes, we have found our PF of the future. Lets hope Scola takes it well.

I still think he could be used effectively as a SF kind of like a Odom hybrid in the right situation.

I big lineup of this would be insane!

    Lee
    Martin
    Patterson
    Miller
    Yao

No one under 6'5 on that squad.
