OU will blow us out of the water.

This offense, which was advertised as having a power rushing attack in the offseason, has absolutely no identify.

It looks like Colt and Vince were able to mask Greg Davis' ineptitude with their sheer talent.

I was at the UCLA game. If Greg Davis makes the same calls again vs OU, we're not going to score any points, it's going to be a shut out.

Gilbert was horrible, he makes wish that Chris Simms was back. Gilbert holds the ball too long, he's like the Steve Francis of College Football.

I want the Longhorns to win, but this is shaping up to be another Alamo Bowl season.

Greg Davis continues to show why he is just not a good coordinator. No one in the business panics like him when it comes to play calling. If the qb or the line makes one mistake, he reverts back to screen after screen after screen. My dead grandmother can defend that.

UT is probably going to lose 3-4 more games this year, its going to be a long and painful season.

Malcolm Brown and those two five star lineman recruits can't get into Austin quick enough. Texas needs a running game.

Public-drunk arrests total nearly 50Email Print Comments92 ESPN.com news services

Nearly 50 people were arrested overnight in downtown Dallas ahead of the Texas-Oklahoma game, local police reported Saturday, according to The Associated Press.

Police said the arrests were for public intoxication, mostly in the West End section of the city, the AP report said.

A news release stated 300 parking tickets were also issued and two vehicles towed.

The No. 8 Sooners and No. 21 Longhorns play Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at the Cotton Bowl in the annual Red River Rivalry.

After the Rice game, I thought that the Longhorns had problems on offense. That was exposed last week against UCLA. What was also exposed that I did not suspect is that the Texas defense has problems against a good running game.

The game today should be close, but I think Zero U wins.

exactly. Plus, Gilbert stares his receivers down so hard it's like he's trying to burn holes through them with his eyes. Combine that with the idiotic WR screens Davis is always calling, and I'm I betting on at least one pick-6 for OU today, unfortunately. Not to mention the fact that he's gonna get Goodwin killed eventually.

Gonna be a long season for sure. It's too bad Nebraska is skipping out on their return date to Austin next year, so it looks like they'll get scoreboard on their way out.

It was bound to happen.... Just hoping Texas can recruit a nice back this recruiting season. Gilbert will get better... IMO.

i would've rather have seen texas get their ass kicked then to lose like that... just a 100% lack of mental fortitude.
