On a related note, you can listen to a lengthy interview with Trent Reznor on the making of it here:

    Saw the midnight showing

Believe the hype, it was pretty damn good. I am a fan of heavy dialogue (Chasing Amy is of my favorite movies), so don't be disappointed if you expected less of a movie with lots of dialogue to understand, hell the first scene alone I needed subtitles to understand the conversation.

Screenwriting, directing, was on par and Jesse Eisenberg was solid. Definitely worth seeing, don't want to hype up the movie too much, but I felt the same after the movie as I felt after watching Inception, it needs a repeat viewing.

One of the better movies I saw at SXSW in March. Justin Timberlake or not.

Pretty much agree with dave2000. Lots of dialogue yet riveting. Soundtrack was on point and I think they did a great job with casting.

    Great movie.

    Jesse Eisenberg is the man.

    Roger Dodger
    Squid and the Whale
    Adventureland
    Zombieland

    All good films.

Yep. I get him confused with Michael Cera for some reason.

Jesse Eisenberg is 10Xs the better actor than Michael Cera (and I'm a Cera fan)

who gives a flip who's staring in the movie, as long as it executes, apparently Fincher/Sorkin combo have a big enough cult followers to raise interest

    Brenda Song/Rashinda Jones = hotties.....

Just got back from seeing it at the Drafthouse. It was really, really good. Eisenberg is phenomenal, and Timberlake was great. But the biggest standout for me was the music. Trent Reznor really outdid himself with this film.

It's very dialogue / character driven, but the acting, writing and casting are all top notch. Highly recommended.

Movie was very good. Less of a "facebook movie" and more of a movie about the youngest billionaire ever and the story of his success. Great cinematography and score. Brenda Song was hot as hell.

those people that are expecting a "facebook movie", what are people expecting? Something like the South Park episode where they're sucked in to a some universe like Tron? Really am curious to see what those people are thinking

her typical "why does your status say single?" rant was hilarious, cause every dude went through that....
