I don't think that the mailbox listed below gets read very often. I have had good luck with "executive carpet bombs" in the past. Write a well worded letter and send it to all the top execs at the company. For DishNetwork the email format should be: [First Name Initial][Last Name]@dishnetwork.com So for example: Stanton Dodge [Exec VP of Dish] would be sdodge@dishnetwork.com Here is the list of the execs for Dish: http://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ:DISH
im in the process of getting direct tv.. ALL rockets games come on direct tv right? no problems with direct tv?
This happens to all the carriers... it's a game of chicken to see which side caves in Dish or Fox, it's all about $$$. You'll probably see an agreement on or near the deadline....
I will dump dishnetwork so fast (including paying early term. fee) and switch to Directv so fast it won't even be funny. I hate dish anyway. 1 rain drop or a bit of wind and its "no-signal" time
Is there any news about the two parties coming to an agreement yet? The first preseason is around the corner.
As long as you're in their market area. No problems. I live in East Tx, and watch every game. Love Direct TV. If you're going to sign up for Direct TV and want to save $100 ($10 for 10 months off your bill, the referral program is awesome).
in the past 3 years of being in college, i've had them all. in order.. 1. U-Verse 2. Direct TV 3. Comcast 4. Dish Network i really hope DN doesn't screw the pooch on this one.
Anyone know where, if possible, I could stream FSN houston online? In other words is there a reliable free site out there for watching cable channels?
Dish Network finally got everything right. Now, you can order the league pass with Dish Network. Finally, I cannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn watch my rox
what? when did you confirm this? I talked to Dish earlier tonight and they said they were still unsure about the outcome of the negotiations. If you've confirmed something..please share.
go to your online account. under pay per view, you scroll down to NBA League Pass. don't be fooled by the statement that check back next season... then click more information. it leads you to a new page that list NBA League Pass package with price and order button. I just ordered. $179 is the price.
if you're in houston area, or more specifically speaking in rox home coverage area, you don't need the league pass. i am guessing (since i am not living in houston) that the local fox sport channel (Fox Sports-Houston) should broadcast most games. so, you don't need the league pass. the league pass is only for fans living outside houston area.
funny how we are blaming Dish Network, but this story says it's Fox's fault http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/fox-blocks-regional-sports-channels-from-dish-network-viewers-104138783.html
That maybe true but did you read this thread? As of right now...FSN is blocked on DishNetwork by Fox. So how can DishNetwork customers watch the Rockets other than switching providers?
i am not living in Houston. I have no idea who blocks who in Houston area. I don't think it's very difficult to figure out. If Fox blocks FSN-Houston on Dish Network, you won't be able to watch FSN-Houston channel on Dish Network right now. Be aware of two FSN channels in Houston area, FSN-Houston and FSN-Southwest. rox games are broadcasted on FSN-Houston only. Good luck!!!
I have no idea. at least, nba game feeds from local broadcast decided whether HD was on not in the last season.
