What's weird is that since he's god he is there during the honeymoon to (if you know what I mean). Technically, every time two people have sex God is watching (he's a sick b*stard) so does that make it a threesome or does he actually have to penetrate the woman for it to count?

BTW- God never reveals Himself in the context of proof, rather evidence.

There is a big difference. Proof is known, evidence is something to be discovered.

    Proof implies absolute truth
    Evidence implies a question.

Evidence is constructed to draw conclusions or beliefs
Proof is constructed to eliminate contrary conclusions

Proof is only as valid as it is believed.
Evidence is valid for determining a belief.

If my 12 year old son badgered me about proving everything I tell him about my life, my past, my knowledge and my character I would quickly find that evidence that he does not trust me.

It's not weird at all, it should be a beautiful expression of unconditional love, unity, honor, and fulfillment- all of which expresses clearly God's character- it should be pleasure by design.

I think your biggest achievement is showing us the positive power of believing and living your faith in the here and now.

So many justifiably spout contempt for the historical abuses of "Religion" but your day-to-day practice of the faith (as exemplified here) provides an example for all that is good about religion.

Those who can not see the "good" in that are just blind, regardless of belief or not.

With respect to the survey, around 3400 people were polled. 1% identified themselves as atheists.

I think secularists know a lot less than devout peoples. But that's just from my personal experience and observation of the people around me.

I think that's pretty accurate if you are talking about general religious knowledge, rather than a specific religion.

Personally, I don't like method of the survey as well as what they try to imply in their findings. Especially since a lot of these questions are more about what you learn in the world rather than focusing on beliefs. That has to do with knowing news and history. Not religion.

I know it's much more difficult, but I'd like to have seen how they compare in more restricted surveys. Such as comparing atheist/agnostics level of comprehension of Catholicism compared to Catholics.
