I've got $600 worth of travel credit with Continental Vacations (hotel and flight MUST be booked through CoVacations).

I'm thinking about taking a 4 day long weekend trip to Cabo in late October or November. Anybody been? We're looking to bum out on the beach, we are not big party people.

Any other suggestions for a trip to someplace warm this fall, or at least enjoyable during that time of year? We only have 4 or 5 days to do this as well, so no long vacations to Europe or anything.

(Also, I'm not looking to ONLY spend $600, I will go significanly over that, I just want to make sure to burn the credit before it goes wasted).

Went to Cabo last summer for a wedding. We mainly stayed at the resort since the beach behind the hotel has HUGE waves and was not fit for swimming. Definitely be prepared to drop some money as Cabo is very expensive, especially considering the fact that is still mexico.

Also went deepsea fishing which was really cool. Just don't drink until' 4am when you have to be up at 5am.

Didn't much care for Cabo.........very expensive, and I didn't feel like it was worth it.

Liked this place much better for chilling out:

Off the beaten path, price was nice, and it was very beautiful. Great pools too.

I went to the Bahamas for my honeymoon. The Atlantis resort was really nice. If you choose that route, stay at The Cove section. You'll get passes/wristbands to access anything at the resort. Otherwise, you have to pay for daily passes for each little thing.

It's not a cheap trip, but definitely cool. Water and beaches amazing, pool super cool, the marina and all the REALLY nice yachts and stuff there, and there's a casino there!
