Is this true? The Golden State team that beat the Mavs didn't have an all-star either. I guess they could be talking about none of their players ever being an all-star, but then again Tmac was on the roster for part of the year.

 

I remember Morey qualifying this statistic to some extent. If I'm not mistaken, part of the criteria was that no former all-star on the roster could play more than 100 minutes for the season. McGrady only played 46 minutes last year, so he met that criterion.

Can't quite recall what other factors came into play.
