Anyone use any of these? Got any recommendations? I dont want to get into a phone plan being that I will be out of states in February. Main use would be talking to wife and texting friends. No internet needed. Anything good out there or are these things just all the same, nothing special.

A guy hits a "O" instead of a "P" in the thread title and no one takes his question seriously... What is clutchfans coming too??!!
Come on, everyone... stop being such meanies... he clearly meant to say "oLay as you go phones" Well done, sir. I was just about to say: "Cállate, outo."
yea thats what I use. its just like a regular plan without a contract. its just month to month. or... pay as you go. customer rep service is all the same. the only drawback is that you dont get a discount on the phone, however the per minute plans are cheaper. honestly, it all evens out in the end. I just prefer not to have a contract. hope this helps. good luck.
/ end thread. As for the OP's question. I've had some experience with Tmobile pay as you go. Just look into them, see what they give you for how much. And check the coverage maps. You can usually use your own phone, just buy some POS with the prepaid card and take the sim out.
I've had TMobile, Boost, AT&T, and Page Plus prepaid. AT&T is the only one I wouldn't get again, as it's more expensive than the others. Page Plus uses Verizon's network. If you can get or already have a Verizon phone it's probably the cheapest. I use it and I pay about $100/year for cell phone service, no contract. Boost was always 10 cents per minute, Tmobile ranged from 10-35 cents per minute.
I don't know. It shows a lack of dedication to the craft. If he doesn't respect Clutchfans, why should we respect his thread.
