I'm getting ******* sick and tired of EVERY team thinking "THIS IS THE TEXANS SUPERBOWL!!!"

Texans play the Titans "This is their superbowl guys..."
Texans play the Colts "This is their superbowl guys..."
Texans play the Cowboys "This is their superbowl guys..."

No, get over yourselves it is not. It is a big game, that's because it is the next game. It will get a lot of hype because of the in-state rivalry, at the end of the day though the Texans and their fans know it is another game. It will mean diddly squat if the Texans lose this game and still go on to the superbowl. Do you think fans in Houston will still be crying about a loss to what may be a non-playoff team?

Nope, it'll just look like an aberration.

At the end of the day, it's just another game. If the Texans lose this one game out of the next 4 to be 5-1 I doubt it'll be that big of a deal.

This is just venting, because I keep reading how this is the Texans superbowl. As if the Texans win this "Season Accomplished!" please. If the Texans win this and then go on to lose the next 6 games no one will give a **** about beating the Cowboys.

Just like how losing to the Redskins would have made the win against the Colts less.

For the Cowboys, THIS is their season. Not ours. If they lose this game, odds are stacked against them even making the playoffs. So get it correct, this is their superbowl not ours.

I don't get why this bothers people. I WANT the Texans to play every game like it's our Super Bowl. If you play every game like it's your Super Bowl, eventually you'll be playing in the REAL Super Bowl. Besides, it's just a defense mechanism for all the teams that we beat....."oh, well, obviously we lost, this was the Texans Super Bowl.....we just didn't care that much." Which team would YOU rather be??

The Texans will start the season 3-0 with a victory over the Cowboys, and watch the national media go nuts when it happens.

    Book it!

    Andre gets a TD.

    Book it!

    Mario gets another sack.

    Book it!

    Bulldozer rushes one in.

    Book it!

Man, I'm so pumped about Sunday. This is like the Texans Superbowl guys. It's a trap game, cant afford to lose this one. 2-1 is not the same as 3-0. The Philly game scared me too. It is what it is. Just hope those guys play at 110%. No moral victories.

    Go Toros! Tomahawk Chopp!

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas, DE Antonio Smith has a Illness and is questionable for Sunday’s game.

Several posters are talking about the "Philly game." Am I missing something? Do they mean the Redskins game?

You don't post enough in the Texans threads to have established enough sarcasm/satire cred to pull that one off... there are people around here whom I could very easily see posting that and being 100% serious :p

Jerry Jones is trying to poison our players. First, he turns in a positive pee test for one of them, now he's trying to poison them?

I don't think the Cowboys at their best will beat the TEXANS at their worst.

Pollard or Jackson will get their FIRST sack as we rush from the weaker sides with speed. Watch.
