i think that's just a trend that's hard to break, but not impossible to break...in the past, the nba wasnt as talented, so it was unlikely that a team could accumulate high quality depth. Now that there is a lot of talent, players are jumping around all over the place... that is what makes it difficult now to build team depth that could outlast a superstar led team...that being said, i think either superstars win rings or high quality depth. One is just very hard to achieve, but if you dont have a superstar, it's the only other way to go. That's the route we seem to be taking, so i aint mad
sigh dont hate me but........ I thought it was just me, so I asked a few people and they agreed. The road unis red appears to be hot pink. Im not talking about this one photo, Im talking about the video Patrick Patterson is in,and the patpat pics and now these pics. The red is alot lighter and you all know what happens to red when you lighten it......it turns into pink. Wow pink unis. I dont think its my monitor.
wade. third year in the league he wins a championship. first year, a relatively quiet rookie season because of bron and melo. second year, gets shaq and lose in east finals.
Actually, that is a great example... Stud does not necessarily equal superstar. Hell, I remember when Danny Granger was an up-and-coming young stud...now Indy went and drafted Granger part II!
it still fits...i think a more appropriate way of saying it is you can become a superstar over a championship playoff run....but i dont think it happens very often. The stars and semi-stars are more common though..
