Now that it is obvius that Melo does not want to come to Houston, i think Morey should try to get in on this deal somehow or derail the whole trade by partnering up with NY. Morey and Walsh should get together and approach Denver with another 3 team trade that would get Melo to NY. Yes, i am still wanting Houston to acquire about Randolph or Gallinari. We have the picks and talent they need to make a deal with Denver and it's obvious that Melo would rather be in NY so he will probably do all that he can to make this work. I mean we are not getting Melo so we should try to get something out of this. Like someone said in another post, NY is an injured Stoudemire away from a mediocre season and having Melo would not help. Yes, i know that i have brought this up numerous times, but only because i want Houston to get in on this somehow. What do you guys think?

Nope. NY has nothing that we would want besides possibly Anthony Randolph. And I'm not sure he is worth 1 of their draft picks, much less both of them. We don't need to get in on this deal.
You want to help get one of the top players in the league to a team whose first round picks we own?????
Nah...don't wasted any asset on Anthony. Hell, why even help out the Knicks. We're better off with him going East and NJ Nets.

I think with the way we draft I'd rather keep the pick and trust that morey would draft someone better than gallinari and Randolph.
