I think its fair.. Only problem I have with teams ahead of us are the Bucks, Jazz and Suns. I think we are on par with those teams with just a 50% Yao. Anyways with all the unknowns to Yao's health and how he much he will actually play I dont think anyone can reasonably argue that the Rockets are ahead of the

Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Magic, Bulls, Thunder (they may be overrated), Spurs, Mavs

Start us out at 30th on the power rankings as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather prove them wrong.

Since we weren't able to bring in a proven star this offseason it sounds about right.

Probably fair. But I like being the underdog.

Thats fair given all the the unknowns. Once the season starts fully, we may go up or down depending on Yao and how Kmart, Cbud, and Hill improved

Nobody listens to the media predictions anymore. They are always wrong on the Rockets. Its not like they have ever been right or credible before so why start to listen now?

IMO, it's always best to be the under dog. When you are not the top it gives your team some incentive and something to push for. If your the favorite everyone is trying to knock you down.

Talking heads will talk, they're generally wrong. For me I believe.

your an idiot the spurs still have the top 3 players that won them 3 rings

duncan is still one of the best big man in the league still at 34 and no you can't see he's declining he didn't have to play as much minutes last year

ginboili is coming off a season that he had his second best season and again didn't play over the summer

same for parker who is a top 5 pg when healthy he didnt play this summer and will be a contract year

splitter the best big man in europe will have a field day with ginobili and parker pick n rolling all day

anderson was the big 12 player of the year and the best scorer in the nation last year

hill gots an inside game and expanded his 3 point range

blair got a jump shot and the best rebounder in the league

Jefferson worked with pop all this offseason and got stonger from recent camp pictures and no way he has as bad season as he did last year he will be more comfortable

excited about gary neal dude tore up summer league spurs assistant coach chip england said" of everyone who’s ever been in the Spurs’ practice facility, Neal’s shooting performance ranked in the top three, and spurs have had some good shooter from brent barry, michael finley, roger mason.

And we got pop's new favorite player you may know him "garret temple"

If Spurs stay healthy then could defintley possibly be a top 4 team in confernce imo the 2nd best team in the conference

Cool, maybe I'll keep it going... pick a random team and then point out ONLY the top attributes of each player, and then call people idiots for doubting them.

Yeah 13 is pretty fair. Too many unknowns. We could easily end up missing the playoffs.
