Wow this would be a steal, Rockets get Younger and we get a top Prime Superstar. Patrick Patterson is suppose to be our Atheletic PF who is going to be able to run and gun with our backcourt Speed. This trade will make us even better in the Running Game. Get it done MOREY!!!!

Getting Melo for Scola opens up a huge hole...you assume they can make another move to plug it up, but it's a difficult position to plug, not to mention there's no guarantee a deal will come along, especially if we have to give up another asset along with scola, since it's unlikely to be a straight up deal with crap fillers. We'd be left with top 5 player, but not a top 5 team. Great for an up and coming team, not great for the position the rockets are in.

Why can't we just sit back drink tea and eat crumpets all while watching the Knicks give us a top 10 pick next year.

Yeah, except for the part where the Nets don't want to move Favors.

**** no I prefer trading Martin than Scola. Especially after what happened during the FIBA 2010 games.

morey might get a steal here with out giving up any of our starters denver just needs to get alittle more desperate since teams arent giving the nuggets what they want, personaly im against giving any of our picks back to the knicks, why fold now? if we strike out the so be it!...its crunch time, oops! I meant Morey time. ;)

He probably peaked this Summer. Trade high. Luis is my favorite Rocket, but he's 30, well paid, and non athletic. He's also an iron man, highly skilled, and a total professional. It would suck to give him up, but we've got Patterson and Hill waiting in the wings.

    Get er done!

When has Scola's athleticism been one of his strong attributes? The guy does what he does without great athleticism and that kind of talent/skill tends to prolong a player's career.

I'll admit it, I'm irrationally attached to Scola. I wouldn't trade for Melo in that case. It would make bball sense to do it but I personally couldn't.

Who wants to bet Fanhouse went down the Rockets roster like this....

Yao, yeah right.. He's injury prone. Denver won't want him.

Martin... Well, Morey isn't going to trade him... He said so... So...

Ahhh... Scola... Perfect makes sense. Big money to a large chunk of Melo's salary. He balled during the World Championships. He is only going to get better. He'll thrive in Karl's system...

Goes to write article without acknowledging trade restriction on Luis.

RudyT named it. 'Heart of champion.' LB is way more talented but he lacked it.

Never thought I would say this but F**K NO!

I am willing to give up anyone not named Yao or Scola. You can take brooks and his first born for all I care, take Brooks and Martin. Giving up Scola is like taking the heart out of this team.
