Just heard on the news that he failed his physical for the Raptors. They say he has a bad disk in his back. The End.

That's the same thing that ended my basketball career, actually.

Your career was ended by my blocking your shots.

He should just quit from the Raptors, join us, and then retire...doesn't even have to play a minute...

Just do the same thing as how Barkley left....it would suck if he retires w/ the Raptors....

Thanks Hakeem for a great 18 years (eight with me as a fan) and two titles. You'll always be the Dream!

It's a shame really that it came down to this and how it went down the last few years, It seems like forever ago that he was even effective. I remember that year that I saw Ostertag blocking his shots in the playoffs as we gave the Jazz a hell of a fight but couldn't pull it out. He should have pulled out with Drexler that would have been so sweet if it would have ended on a good note instead of this. It also just pains me the way that some on this board knock him, you're not a true Rockets fan if you dis the Dream like some of you.

As far as I'm concerned.. once he leaves the team to join another.. I can diss him.. especially since he disses the organization I love so much.....

It wouldn't surprise me at all, if Olajuwon didn't retire, just to collect his 10 mill for the next 2 years or however long his ridiculous contract is for. Money first, dignity second in the eyes of the Dream.

Whoever you are Otis, you're wrong unless you are me.

I am the one who ended his career by blocking his shots. And by convincing him a) he'd never be as good as me and b) I suck.

they don't have the four point swimming pool in the NBA, CBFC. I told you that already.

OTIS, bring it on. An out-of-prime fromobile will still put most people in the popcorn machine. Does the word "dropstep" mean anything to you? I'll just need a little ice for when I'm through. Yeah, you too CBFC. Being brittle and dangerously out of shape has never stopped me or any immediate family from playing some hard defense and taking it to the rack! We're on. Christmas '03. ..."3" indeed.

Go get em Hakeem. Do the rehab. Get your 12 million.

Alright, there is only one way to settle this. 21, no tip-in, Fleming Park.

fromobile, your hook shot of death is no longer the threat it once was.

CBFC, my parents gave away bags of potato chips on halloween

    Bring it on.

Thats true man. He was raggin on us for something about loyalty when we offered him the same contract. He just thought that playing with the 2nd best dunker in the world, why not move up to the best dunker in the world.

Whatever he said about Houston and the Rockets org. I still practice the dream shake and fail miserably. Thanks for the years of service and the two championships.
