It's a shame really that it came down to this and how it went down the last few years, It seems like forever ago that he was even effective. I remember that year that I saw Ostertag blocking his shots in the playoffs as we gave the Jazz a hell of a fight but couldn't pull it out. He should have pulled out with Drexler that would have been so sweet if it would have ended on a good note instead of this. It also just pains me the way that some on this board knock him, you're not a true Rockets fan if you dis the Dream like some of you.
he should retire a rocket. bring back dream for one last season. when we make the playoffs put him on the active roster and let him play in our last game.

It wouldn't surprise me at all, if Olajuwon didn't retire, just to collect his 10 mill for the next 2 years or however long his ridiculous contract is for. Money first, dignity second in the eyes of the Dream.

Thats true man. He was raggin on us for something about loyalty when we offered him the same contract. He just thought that playing with the 2nd best dunker in the world, why not move up to the best dunker in the world. Whatever he said about Houston and the Rockets org.
