Surprised nobody's posted about the great, great show last night, especially since I'm pretty sure I saw everybody I know there.
Probably because they were boring and support a woman's right to choose...get with the real America, Batman.
my wife just told me she got some sort of facebook msg that they cut the show short because of a fight or something? gonna see them tomorrow here in austin
Great show. Nice seeing you BJ. I was sure you would be there, but didn't think I'd see you. Did you see someone got "Where Is My Mind" in it"s entirety? I got about 15 songs on my iPhone before I lost battery. The video I posted has it. A fight broke out and security was dealing with that. Random jackass hopped on stage and they walked off. A few minutes later they came out, picked up where they left off and finished the show.

going tonight! doolittle is my 2nd favorite album of all time so im dorking out for this. saw them at coachella in 04 - great show. acl a few months later - not so great. its funny that the 'reunion pixies' have now been around about as long as they were the 1st time around, but no new material except for that one crappy bam thwok song. they probably didnt make too much $$$ in the 80s-90s so i dont hold it against them, but some new (good) material would be cool! kim deal probably made more $$$ off cannonball than the whole group did over their entire career.
I don't know who the Pixies are... but... I saw that video someone posted up there... and... So security handled it properly... and they walked off? Why? Wouldn't you think that if the dude was removed, they should have continued playing? Why wouldn't they stay playing? Sounds a bit touchy. I know they think safety, but... security took care of it.
It's very lame, any band worth the salt will at least come up w/some new material when they "come back", IMO. Still cannot deny their greatness, at one time....
Because it's Black Francis, Swoly. He's a grouchy whiner, and this is not even the first time he's walked off the stage during a show. I was actually surprised he came back out to finish.
