Yeah. Unfortunately I haven't been able to garage the damn thing, so the Texas heat has raped it over the years
1998 Saturn SL2 Pros - just about everything - 165K miles and still runs great Cons - Paint is peeling & I wish it was just a bit bigger for the family. 2002 Oldsmobile Alero Pros -It gets me from A to B, the outside is in good shape Cons - everything else...99K miles and it runs like it has 200K. I don't believe in Car payments..so as long as it costs very little to upkeep, its still financially worth owning.
2006 Acura TSX Pros: Easy to drive Comfortable Luxurious for my tastes Reliable Good gas mileage Cons: Underpowered FWD Premium gas only
2006 Jeep Commander Limited Pros - Loaded with nice and attractive features, spacious 7 seater, smooth ride, good power from its 4.7L V8, Bout to clock 80k miles and still running great Cons - 15 to 17mpg on average, large A-pillars give a nice blind spot up front, had the fuel pump go out suddenly but warranty covered it with no problems. 2003 Ford Ranger Edge SuperCab Pros - Not much to say its my work truck, 136k and running strong, seems to be very durable, decent power from its 3.0L V6 Cons - 15 to 17mpg on average, same as my Jeep. Oh **** A-pillar handles are weak and seem to come loose
2000 Toyota Camry, inherited from parents when they got a new vehicle. Pro: reliable, cheap Con: color, boring to drive, 115k miles
2003 BMW M5 Pros: One of the best looking sport sedans made , fast, head turner even after 7 years. Can spank the hell out of a lot of new cars, tons of torque, overall just the car I have always loved, amazing handling for a sedan. Cons: Gas mileage around the city sucks (12mpg) even though highway gets close to 21, very expensive to maintain, very expensive to modify (which I do a lot of) Actual pic of my car with mods which are too much to list lol
I drive a 2005 Nissan MAXIMA Pros: It's a sedan so for me it's a perfect size not to big, not to small. It looks pretty nice inside....And is one of those cars if you want to modify its not hard to do. Not to bad on gas. Cons: I read that the 05 have tranmisson problems and I'm starting to feel that as of a couple of weeks ago. Its hard to get to certain parts under your hood.
'04 Acura TL Pros Good acceleration. Good ride. Reliability : This is most important to me since I don't believe in continuing to pay for a car once I've paid for a car. In over 151,000 miles, it's had 1 out-of-warranty repair : a couple of engine mounts needed to be replaced. I had a power steering pump replaced at around 80-90k under warranty. Cons Can't think of any other than I wish it had better mileage. City driving is about 21-22 mpg. On long highway trips, it gets about 30-32 mpg.
1993 Acura Legend Pros - Has been incredibly reliable for close to 20 years now Cons - Its a black car with black leather interior, not ideal for Texas weather or hot weather anywhere.
My last 2 cars have been black on black. I just hate that black paint gets swirls too easily. The heat doesn't really bother me, but yeah, it's a bit.... warmer.
Still a 2004 Mercedes CLK convertible, I haven't driven it too much, like less than 50k miles in total since I have it. Pretty much this model, I think: Pros: It's nice to drive around with the roof open when the weather is nice and it is reasonably fast (on the Autobahn, I drive at around 130-140 mph when there is no traffic). Cons: Acceleration could be better (I have the weakest engine model), the roof opening mechanism is broken right now (probably something minor).
2004 BMW 330i Pros: Fast, sporty, ladies, fun to drive Cons: Constantly taking to get fixed, constantly the victim of hit and runs, impossible to keep clean for one week
