When that happens, they don't do it to the most valuable and profitable teams (The Texans). The Rockets, sure, they get ****ed over all the time, but what incentive does the NFL have to screw the Texans?
Rat Fart! Not good - not good at all. Brown plays LT which I believe is Schaub's blind side. Demarcus Ware is already in a foul mood and could have a field day chasing Schaub. They'll have to use a TE to double I suppose.
Just a question, I think there is a pretty significant drop off from Brown to the next guy off the bench. Any way they would consider sliding Winston over to the blindside for a few weeks?
Basically the Texans are a top 10 team on the uprise. They aren't the BIG TEAMS so if you find them to be guilty of failing drugs tests, then you know they aren't just attacking the smaller teams. At the same time though, they are saving the main high profitable teams from any criticism. I'm not saying they are specifically targeting us, but it's a way to make it seem as if the sport is more pure.
You are either ignoring the facts or do not know them. The Girls, Skins, Pats, Giants and Jets are the only more profitable and valuable franchises in the NFL. The Texans are the 10th most valuable sports franchise in the WORLD.
Yes, that's what i've been saying. The testing is just there to be there. It really isn't reliable and when asked about testing Goodell can be proud to say "Yes we test, and we punish guys that fail." and he makes an example somewhat out of guys that fail. I feel sorry for the guy that gets caught twice for this BS...hopefully it won't be Cushing.
It's probably the same crap that our long snapper got suspended for a few years back.... not a big deal (losing him for four games is though). I don't think it is like Cushing where he got his hand caught in the cookie jar.
Any ways though, it's good the league has the decency to tell us now so Butler can practice with the first team and Kubiak can fully prepare for it. I think the NFL benefits from Texans success. I think that's pretty obvious.
It's a popularity contest. Whoever makes the most money doesn't always deem them the most important and protectable. Once again, I'm not saying they are just targeting Houston. It's a northeastern bias and Houston is one of the teams not from the northeast that's a big dog.
Um, not that I believe in the northeast-based conspiracy theory, but did you really just imply that Minnesota is in the northeast? I think you need Geography 101...
Well, with the timing of it, at least he'll be fresh for the last 10 games after the bye. That's going to be a brutal stretch and they're going to need him.
