I believe it. Goodell cares about one thing. Money. If more than half the league is using, then the NFL loses so much credibility.
It's always something. Just when we thought our luck is changing.. I still believe. Next in line has to step up and fill the role.
The good thing about it is if we are a good team, if we are the team everyone thinks we are. We survive this. Jets are missing Jenkins and Revis. Ravens Missing Reed. Steelers missing Ben. Vikings missing Rice... The list goes on, and Brown is a 2nd tier player on this team. Behind Johnson, Schaub, Mario, etc. It'll be harder though, but I thikn this team can still have a positive stretch for this. Brown and Cushing are walking the line though, if they are caught again I think it's suspension for a season...but usually players aren't caught again because Goodell has proved his point :/
It's nothing against the Texans in particular, but yes, my suspicion is that the rules are a little different for teams with larger, national fan bases.
how about a better theory? Larger national fan base teams know how to ****ing cheat better! How about sending these guys to Austin to learn for Armstrong.
RUH ROH Apparently, they're blaming it on the ex-trainer, giving the players illegal substances. If that's so, then the ex-trainer had better be 500 miles away from Texas or else face the wrath of an angry Texas mob. These suspensions is going to rob us of our Cinderella season.
Aren't the Texans one of the most valuable franchises in all of world sports? I doubt anyone is out to get them. This isn't the NBA, at least imo
The Cowboys have one of the best pass rushers in the game, Ware could have a field day if Butler/Salaam aren't ready. Either way, this is a big loss and a r****ded one on top of that. And please quit with all the Goodell/conspiracy crap. Brown and Cushing tested positive, that's that.
Appeal would be stupid, like I posted earlier, it will give him like a 2 week window to play. The Texans can beat Oakland and Dallas without him, delaying the inevitable would make sure he is out against Sand Diego and Indy.
Wow, never heard that excuse before. I think that's a cut-and-paste from the often used 'suspended for roids statement' template.
Only if they visit him in his principals office and be good. See, this makes sense. I wonder if this ex-trainer will be looked at by the NFL? I wonder if he's found guilty of anything will the NFL ban said trainer? Or does the NFL even care about the trainer? I just feel like the whole testing in the NFL is a farce, it's just there so they can say its there. Every year a player or two gets caught...because yeah, only 2 guys in the NFL are on banned substances.
All sports are controlled this way. Why would they make it obvious they are shafting other teams? We wouldnt buy their product then. That's why they do it in subtle ways. Woo I'm a conspriacy theorist.. Nope I'm just not full of **** and see how history continues to repeat itself.
