If Duncun decided just to see wut direction the Spurs were going and signed a 1 yr deal, he would be a FA next year. Suppose he, hypothetically, decided he didn't like the way they were going? Houston next yr will have all that cap room and a whole in their center spot...and duncun will be a free agent.... big grin ------------------ "There are two rules for success... 1) Never tell everything you know."
Who's Duncun? Is he a high-schooler? Sorry, but twice in one post. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Holyfield fight
Sorry, but the rumors have him signing a 3-year deal with an option for year 4. Try talking to him again!!! ------------------ There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count and those who can't.
Well doesn't matter if the Rockets had any thing that Duncan desired he would probably be talking sweet heart deal now. Some thing like gimme what you got now & what ever Dream leaves behind next year, I'll take that too. The fact is Duncan is not interested in the Rockets he is interested in playing for the aging, gutless & soft Spurs team for a while. Although I hate the Spurs & think they suck, at least he's loyal you have to respect that. ------------------
Hold my first post. I have since been possessed by an over whelming sense of backcourt insecurities. Let's just deal Shandon, Francis, Cato & 10 years worth of to the Spurs for DuNcun. This would insure that Mobley would have a all for one back court competition & then send DuNcun to Seattle for Rashard. This would be the ticket, we would have two over achieving 2nd rounders for many years to come & even though we would remain a Lotto team for the next ten years we would have no 1st round picks thus we would not cause any worries in the minds of our 2nd rounders that we could then sign for all the cap room possible. ------------------
