Just knowing what I know, Chase has to be right about Melo. If Denver refuses to trade him and he gets down to the extension deadline, he'll have to really hate playing in Denver to give up the extension money and go into free agency under the new CBA. He's bluffing now and he will fold when the time comes.
Is it me but is Bud inlove with Pearl Bar?? Ive seen the guy there 3 times already. Dude is laid back and easy to talk to.
He's probably right about Melo but he has no insider knowledge. For one, the deal hasn't even been made, no one knows inlcuding Melo atm who it's going to shake down let alone a random bench player from a team that's probably not even going to deal for him. In any case it's good that Bud thinks as he does. A young player going into camp doesn't need to be thinking about trades or anything but giving his all for the team he's currently on.
I could be wrong, but I don't think he will fold. I think he has a strong desire to go back home and play on his own big 3 team assuming Paul joins them. And if he is committed to the marriage, he will want to keep his lady happy. He can get some of that money back in endorsements that would not get in Denver.
The only reason he says Melo isn't coming is because he knows that he will probably be included in the deal, and probably doesn't want that to happen. He's probably right, but anything can happen.
WTF? We let stories like this in without pics? Nice job bull****ting whatever you wanted Chase to say into this imaginary encounter...
Who doesn't like the Pearl Bar? It's a cool place, especially the part in the back, spacious open area.
I think none of you mentioned that he would get way more money by signing the extension cause of the new collective bargaining agreement which is bein talked bout. Salaries will be lower so he could sign a deal now to ensure he gets big money.
Pearl Bar will always occupy a sore spot in my heart for being the shallow replacement of the awesome gutterbucket bar that MJ Fat Cat's used to be. It definitely fits the bill as the kind of cornhole establishment Budinger and Battier would frequent.
