The thing that irks me about the decision is that he almost robbed the guys that played their heart out.
I dunno. Hard to get up for an 0-2 team vs a 2-0 team. I think i'll go watch Yao sit on the bench for the open practice.
Kubes got extremely lucky. I am ecstatic with the win, but not confident that Kubiak has the balls to coach this team in tough situations.
I'm sweating. I threw up. I lost vision for 3.7 seconds. I orgasmed. All at the same time, I am emotionally involved.
The Texans will beat the Cowgirls next week to go 3 and 0 for the first time in franchise history. Book it!
Guys you realize there is new OT rules right? If the first team who gets the ball kicks a FG, the other team gets a chance to either tie with a fg or win with a TD. If they tie then it goes to sudden death from there. Yea Rackers might have made a 52 yarder but even if he did who's to say the Skins would not have just gone down and scored a TD on us for the win. Punt it away and hope your D can hold and make it sudden death. Good call by Kubes.
Still disagree with Kubes' move to not kick the 52-yard FG, but we didn't lose because of it so it's all good. He made up for it with his icing of Washington's kicker, too. I've never seen the Texans come back like that. If only they hadn't started the game so lazily, it would've been an easy win. The defense needs to be 100% for the entire game, not just part of it. Still, this year is so different! We beat the Colts, we won a game in overtime, and we're actually coming back when behind. This certainly seems like the Year of the Texans (also the name of my fantasy team).
