    Oh, please. Seinfeld had and still has a huge pop culture impact, especially in the late '90's with the Seinfeld/Friends/ER Thursday night block when everyone you know insists that you watch it because they can't fathom that you don't find it funny. References to it still are impossible to avoid, especially here on this BBS. It is pervasive, and as a result, I'm pretty darn familiar with the series.

    I've never seen an episode of that guido douchebag show and I still managed to be aware of Snookie getting popped for not keeping her trap shut around drunk people. Not liking or watching a show does not equate to living under a rock.

    Only slightly.

    i don't see a problem with that statement? The Doug character is only slightly less annoying then the father. And most of the male characters are pretty annoying too.

    But.......Carrie........mmmmMMMMMMmmmMMMMM. And the dipply blond too! Man...what a great show :cool:

    I know about it because the video was posted here, as was the many-page thread titled "The Douchebag Show," which I opened due to the title catching my attention, which is really the whole point: bobrek telling me to "change the channel" has nothing to do with my level of familiarity with a given subject when that subject is referenced often in popular culture.
