Earlier today on the Dan Patrick show, coach K called Teodosić the best non-USA player he saw at the FIBA tournament. He also said he's better than Rubio.

 

Man, I was so dissappointed in him at the worlds, I liked his competitive fire and thought he would have developed in the NBA, but he took the easy road, went back to Greece and has not gotten one iota better.

I wouldn't want him back in Houston for any amount of money, he still jumps in the air to pass, his jumpshot still has bad form, and if you take away the PnR he is lost out there.

I wanted to see if he would develop but by going home to a much weaker league he is able to get away with stuff he could not get away with in the NBA.

He would have been forced to develop, but instead chose stagnation.

it was from 1 game, the finals where he won mvp. And I'm guessing they showed his ft's, to show his clutchness in hitting late ft's to make the game out of reach.

Also to just show the end of the game, where they won the finals.

 

I think that video was just showing all of his points in that game. Which btw was against the Olympiakos rival, Panathinaikos, in the Greek cup final.

For those who don't know, this guy is also a very very good passer.

He was after all the Euroleague MVP this past year.

he's a better true pg than both of them.

he's a better shooter than lowry and as good as brooks.

well, he's also a better fiba player, a proven winner and clutch.

plus, he's a much better fit for an nba club than vspan ever was. and that should seal the deal for you.

A lot of valid points. What we seem to forget it that a lot of our offense is run through the high post so the rox don't have the need for a traditional PG like Teodosic or nash etc. I think Lowry is an underrated shooter, but Teodosic is a better shooter at this point.

I like that he is not afraid of big shots. But he also has a tendency to force shots when he needs to do a better job of running the team. He rushed down the court and forced up shots againgst Turkey in the semi finals as soon as Turkey took the lead in the 4th. So I wouldn't agree he's a better PG then Lowry or Brooks. It's a completely different game in the NBA then here in Europe.

The thing that I don't like about him, is he is a hot head. It wasn't that evident in the FIBAs, but he's got a very short fuse and has on many of occasion gone off when he needed to remain calm. Case and point, in a friendly 2 weeks before the FIBA championships vs Greece where he got into confrontation with a few players and was suspended for the first 2 games of the tourney. In this respect I see a lot of similarities to Spanoulis in Milos, hopefully I'm wrong.

Having said all that, I'd still love to have him on the Rox, but we'll have to be extremely patient, as it'll take a lot of time for him to adjust, more then it took Scola as the PG position is the most difficult to learn in the NBA especially for someone who's never played the NBA brand of basketball at any level.

 

If Morey is talking to him, he can ball...
