I look at small little yappy dogs and think to myself, "I wonder how far I could kick that thing if I caught it square in the rib cage?"
When I was in college, I was a door-to-door salesman. By far, that breed of dog is the most aggressive in my extensive experience- I was bitten by more of these than any other breed. It could be that small dogs tend to not get the training and discipline that larger breed dogs do, but it still doesn't change the fact that these bastards are mean. (I was never bitten by a big dog, btw)
Yup. My wife worked for a vet clinic, and by a very wide margin, the bites that they received were generally from little yippy dogs (chihuahua, yorkies, bichon frise, just about any terrier breed) than large dogs (rotties, pit, boxer, etc.), with one notable exception: chows. Chows are just plain bat$h!t crazy, probably due to so much inbreeding.
Does anyone remember Belle? I went and picked her up from someone on last May. Here she is over a year later. Great dog, I never spent much energy looking for a home for her.
My dog has a chewing problem that's annoying but he's never bitten anyone. He'll lick your legs if you're eating at the dinner table and he's sitting under you. I think the small dogs that do bite just weren't socialized enough with outsiders at a young age is all. Thank you and I'm relieved to see him recovery so well too.
That is damn cute dog! Here is my crazy one: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oi1PKqVJ2W8?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oi1PKqVJ2W8?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
She is a female, she is a Swiss White Shepherd, different breed from White German Shepherd. But they look similar.
