"A new survey has found the city in America that has the most sexually fulfilled residents in the entire country. And the answer might surprise you. Austin, Texas has been named America’s most sex-happy city by Men's Health. The magazine looked at condom sales, birth rates, sex toy sales, and STD rates in determining their list. Matt Marion, the deputy editor of the magazine, said that, in general, cities with warmer climates rated higher on the list. Marion explains his reasoning, saying, “One possibility is that in an area where's it's hotter, people need to dress lighter and that puts pressure on them to look better and keep in better shape.” This may be why Austin came out on top. Here’s the top 10: 1. Austin, TX 2. Dallas, TX 3. Columbus, OH 4. Durham, NC 5. Denver, CO 6. Indianapolis, IN 7. Arlington, TX 8. Oklahoma City, OK 9. Bakersfield, CA 10. Houston, TX Bigger cities with party reputations and a larger singles scene didn’t fare too well on the list. Los Angeles ranked number 54, followed by Las Vegas at 70, New York at 73, San Francisco at 74, and Miami at 88. Folks in Portland, Maine are apparently not so happy with their sex lives. The city ranked last on the list. Overall Texas was the best performing state on the list with seven cities ranking in the top 15. Austin doesn't surprise me - it's got how many colleges and universities in it? UT, Huston-Tillotson, Concordia, St. Edwards, ACC, not to mention a bunch of trade schools... That's a bunch of effing horny kids running around this town!
Usually don't do this but..... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=192796 I also want to state how wrong the hypothesis was. http://www.menshealth.com/fattestcities2010/ With the exception of Denver or Austin, most of the cities are below average in terms of obesity. Which leads me to propose the opposite effect is true, fat people have lower standards thus screw more.
