    "...
on his birthday, Yao stayed alone in his room playing games
all afternoon. Those are old games like "resident evil" and "star wars". He felt the difference between game and life is that game can be replayed but life can not: I can save a game or replay it, but I can never replay WBC, I am not happy today for being lost so badly in WBC. Nevertheless, I still have chances upcoming, like
Olympic, next WBC, maybe the Olympic in 2008.."

I personally feel that he has been being sentimental and somehow related to not able to sign with ROX then. Hope I am wrong. Anyways, be strong, Yao. Life is still a game, it is meant to be played.

I am quite confident that he will join Rockets after the Asian Games. Do not worry about it.

we new that yao would miss the preseason when we drafted him. now we know he will be unsigned until then too. that makes me a little uneasy, but he will be playing for us this season.

If Yao Ming wants to play for the Rockets, I'm pretty sure he and the Rockets will do all they can to make sure that comes true. Yao is a smart person, he knows that getting into the NBA is his number one priority right now.

if yao waited that long do you know how much money they would lose. Face it the reason wang dissapeared was because they way they do things over there. They know the got some messed up rules, and thats why the are worried about yao. Yao know they got a screwed up system too. Once he gets here he will never do anything for them again, except play in the olympics.

Money talks. I bet if Chinese NT pays people 1 mil to play they'll be begging NT to join.
