The Thunders is the most overrated team right now.

Seriously. They had what, 50+wins last season and lost in the 1st round in 6 games. BIG DEAL. Now they're promoted by most "experts" as the 2nd best in the west?? Please. Yes, the west got weaker but don't count houston, dallas( as much as I hate them) out. They are both better than the thunders IMO.

Forgot to mention the spurs as well. As long as manu, parker and duncan are still healthy, they are a top 3 team in the west.

I agree. But they will be better this year just not as good as people think.

They increased their win total by like 30 wins didn't they? Now they have an even better team and Durant is a beast. They aren't overrated. They're a young team that won 50 games.. Imagine when their players are fully developed.

Yep, the national media needs a new " It " boy after the whole LeBacle and who better than Durant?

Kobe is getting old, Wade is a part of the most hated team in the NBA, CP3 and Melo are not exactly helping themselves out by demanding trades, and Deron Williams and Brandon Roy don't have that starpower.

Durant is thought of as the good guy of the league and a quiet star. Sort of like the Andre Johnson of the NBA or the Anti-LeBron.

Last year the Thunder took the league by suprise and were overlooked but now the spotlight will be on them. It's gonna be interesting to see how they handle the pressure night in and night out.

sure, when the rockets won 50+ games/lost in the first round the previous year and ppl projected them 2nd-3rd in the west a few years back, we werent overrated (even though i thought we had no chance in making it to the WCF/finals)....

but when okc wins 50+ games and is projected the same, theyre overrated

    it's just a projection.

You left plenty of actual analysis out. The THUNDER surged to 27 more wins than their previous year without making any major signings or trades. Their players got better, the team improved drastically. They took the EVENTUAL CHAMPION Lakers to six games in the first round with their star shooter shooting under 30% from 3s and with a roster with minimal playoff experience and some $40 million less spent than the Lakers. Both Durant and Westbrook got valuable experience this summer and are bound to increase their efficiency. I don't know what analysts are saying to make you call the Thunder overrated but this team is a low-post threat away from contending with ANYONE in the West. Sefolosha, Ibaka, Harden, Maynor, and Green flourished last year. I love watching them play and always root for them when they're not playing against the Rockets.

Without a doubt the Thunders are overrated. But you look at Durant and like what you see so much, it makes you exagerate.

You can't be serious. The Thunder, Rockets, Blazers and Mavs are all better than the Spurs, who will need major injuries by one of the about (or the Lakers) to be seeded higher than #6.

Speaking of improving players, Serge Ibaka has been working out this summer. I think this is the first time he's ever lifted weights.

All he's missing here is the Carl Lewis heels.

What the? I thought that was Dwight Howard for a second!

    Dude is a freak!

I think there is finally somebody who gives Howard competition as the best body in the NBA.

all their best players have like 3 years or less experience and they won 50 games... its not a stretch to say they will be even better. they are extremely athletic and are a very good defensive team which i think is key.

They have the best player in the league and a whole bunch of young, talented players that complement him perfectly. No ego's and they play their asses off every night.

I'm enamored by the assumption that this

is a body that has never lifted weights, according to A3PO. Let's say you're exaggerating... still. The guy was cut in that photo, and the next series of photos might have a lot to owe to the extreme lighting and purposeful flexing.

This is the most I'm going to discuss another man's body for now, I've got a busy night ahead of me ;) . I'm pretending to have a wife ;) .
