The Texans have signed 10 year veteran defensive end Adewale Ogunleye to take Connor Barwin's spot. Ogunleye has 67 sacks in 9 seasons with Miami & Chicago.
Health concerns aside, he's more than capable of filling Barwin's role. I'm just a little curious about how much the Texans are paying him.
I like the signing. It gives us some veteran knowledge at the position. Granted, he's up there in age, and obviously I'm sure he doesn't have a WHOLE lot left in the motor, but in situational pass rushes, I think he can provide some pressure on the QB.
Good to hear, hope he gets into playing shape in short order. Don't expect to see him Sunday, but hopefully he'll be worked in against the Cowboys.

Well, I guess this is as good as we could have hoped. Between the two of them, we'll be able to keep moving without missing much.
Love the signing. Ogunleye was a monster in Chicago. He has similar career stats to Aaron Schobel, so thats a decent indicator...
Denney is a big guy at 6-7. He has even caught a touchdown pass each of the last 2 years on fake punts. What kind of arm does Turk have?
Maybe cause this year would be his 10th? He came into the league in 2000 but was on injured reserve that year.
