    I don't know if I believe that. A perpendicular impact is probably very bad for the driver, but an angled side impact could have the cars glance off of one another and result in a relatively minor wreck.

    Or send the car taking the impact on the side tumbling. Something tells me the tumbling raises the likelihood of passenger injury a bit more than a direct head-on collision would (given airbags, seatbelts, etc.).

    I think I'll join Team B-Bob on this one.
