That's a really impressive CV he has right there. And that demonstrates the amount of talent and dedication he puts in the game. I love this guy!

Am I mad that you have a GM who builds his team around an injury prone center into an lottery team like last year

lol were you serious about the jackie butler statement?

Yah Scola would and I was playing about the whole Splitter should win the MVP. I guess being the only good player besides Delfino on your team winning the MVP means alot to yall haha

I don't know about winning another championship I don't know how scola defense is never really paid attention to it when he's played the spurs but of course most of the problems the spurs had in 2006 against the Mavs was of course we had no one to put on Dirk that matched his size. Bruce Bowen did a real good job, but Dirk was too big for him not too sure what Scola would do to guard him better he is 2 inches taller than bowen, and at the same time the spurs were getting killed by the mavs players driving not too sure if scola would of made a difference on that we had the likes of rasho, nazr and oberto at that time who were all over 7 feet. Scoring wasn't the problem for the Spurs that series.

2008 Kobe was the main problem, Bowen couldn't slow him down and thats when you started seeing his decline, but we did have some bad scoring droughts though which cost us game 1 and 5 tbh but not too sure if Spurs would have beat the celtics in the finals

    2009 Ginobili was hurt

2010 The Suns killed us with there shooting they pretty much made every shot they threw up

ha brah first of Splitter is 5 years younger than Scola half the achievments are from Fiba and olympic competition, how many are for the rockets? 1. Who does Splitter play for? Brazil who do they got besides Barbosa,Varejo and Nene. Like I said I was playing around about the whole Splitter being the MVP but Splitter is getting better and better, he's probably better than scola around the rim becuase of his size but of course Scola can shoot and Splitter jump shot is still not as consistent as his, and of course Splitter is going to be or already a better defender than Scola. Scola is the better player right now though I will give yall that.

Scola is flat out balling in the tournament.

It's like I didn't even know that Scola was this good.

Luis Scola: "I'm Ready to Face Brazil"

"I'm not of afraid to lose, I'm just afraid of not playing hard enough, not prepare myself, not be ready to play..."

He reminds me of Boxer in Animal Farm; quintessential working class player. :)

Scola 6 years ago (1 year younger than current Splitter) was Europe best PF overall, and was the co-MVP (with Manu) of the Olympic games, having 25 pts and 11 rebounds in the title game....

I SERIOUSLY doubt that current 10 pts of Tiago (or 13 ppg in this tournament) can be compared to the 24 year old Scola performance (and he had thought competition to score there).....

Scola was 20/10 PF after the Landry trade...and that after Brooks and Ariza hogging the ball....

You'd better share the stuff yuo smoke if you think Splitter can be realistically compared to Scola....

Let's not carry too far or too hyped with Scola. He is a solid NBA player, but physically limited as well.

How did Yi finish out the tournament? I keep hoping he turns into a solid NBA player. He'll never quite be like Kevin Durant, but with such a similar build he could develop into a deadly FIBA 3-point range jump shooter.
