I have no idea how they did it, but then maybe that's why they're out of business. All I know is I was downloading huge files fast as hell. But you know you're spoiled when you start b****ing about having the speed of a T-1 line. Hehe. ...it's just that having 2-3 times the speed of a T-1 was so much nicer
Whoa! I beat somebody. I use to have a connection similar to that, I think, but we managed to switch to the one we got now. Not a ton better, but good enough.
519.52Kbps. using RoadRunner cable in Austin. I'm surprised it's that slow. My speed used to always be between 1200 and 1500Kbps. and often much higher. There must be a lot more users out where I live now... it gets slower with more users on your local network (neighborhood) from what I understand. I bet it'll be much faster later tonight.
Hmm... now it says I'm getting 1.9 Mbits/sec. Kinda strange since my d/l speed is capped at 1.5 Mbits/sec.
