mistakes by rick smith/owner this offseason: 1.extending Kubiak when cowher was there for the taking 2.drafting "need" instead of best player available. ie: should have taken the best wr dez bryant not an average at best cb in Kareem jackson..or even trade up for ryan matthews(foster wont last healthy,no one does) 3.extending schaub with an 8 million bonus. ive always said he is a rich mans carr. without andre johnson how good would schaub be? and even with andre,schaub always throws crucial int's(think last yr colts game/cardinals game) 4.extending andre. yes he is good,but aging fast,and could be replaced with a cheaper dez bryant. this isnt a problem now, but 4 years from now when he is in his mid 30's making 17 million it will be an albatross 5.not paying up the cash for schoebel The one smart thing they did was replace brown with rackers. On schaub, he doesnt have "it". Its that lack of feeling that he can carry a team on his back and rally the troops. He doesnt and cant. Vince Young can.
