This is probably the wrong spot to post this but oh well. Do you guys know of any good websites for rockets gear? I'm from CA so its hard to find a variety of hats and what not so any suggestions?
Ebay is probably your best bet for bargains, they usually have good deals here and there on Footlocker/Eastbay when they have their Friends/Family sales with an extra 20-30% off NBA.com has some deals every so often with 15% off or free shipping when spending $50. I'd avoid RocketsShop.com since they OVERCHARGE for shipping its ridiculous...
Fail. What I do is try to decide what kind of item I want and just hunt from there. For example, do I want a blanket? A poster? A shot glass? etc... then just search. Different sites have different items.
For jerseys i found this site , maybe it's Chinese since it's very cheap (15$ for a jersey + 5-10$ shipping), the pictures looks good but i think they're from nba store. Anyway I'm gonna order one soon enough and let everybody know about the quality...

I have a hat that I can sell you for less than $40. I've had it for a few years now and have worn it about a thousand times. It does have a sweat ring around the inside, but no worries, no one can see it. I did get it autographed by Bill Worrell, but he signed it in blue sharpie instead of black, so I hope that's ok. Oh, and it's not a fitted hat, it's one of those hats you adjust with the small plastic nipples. Anyways, they all broke, so now I just latch it together with red electrical tape. At least it matches. What do you think is a fair price?
I bought a brooks jersey and some football jerseys from one of the websites from china it seems sketch but the jerseys I got were legit. The brooks one is stiched with all offical logos sewn on, know off or not can't beat 20bucks. The nfl jerseys were identical to the one I saw in stores for 100 bucks less
MY EXPERTISE! I spend sooo much time browsing sites for Rockets items. You would not believe. Ebay is my favorite. Amazon is a good one to search because a lot of sites will show up on a search from there. What you'll find is that all of the sporting good sites like Dick's fansedge etc... all have all the same apparel and same selection priced the exact same. I've wasted time in the past trying to save a few bucks. I would go ahead and wait for the season to start to order anything from NBAstore.com unless you find something you love. They should have new items coming in after the start of the season. A code that anyone can use for 15% off there is NBAWELCOME. that expires in December. They sell car decals on eBay, but I bought mine at Academy.
Im glad someone started a post regarding Rockets gear. Ive been looking for Rockets shorts, especially the retro/alternate shorts they wore last season (the red ones with the yellow sides). Those jerseys are so cool, I wish it were available. Ive checked eBay, google, NBA/Rocket store. The Im also looking for huge "R" sticker logo (probably 1 -2 ft long). Maybe Ill just wait for the season to start.
For the huge R sticker, this is the largest one I've seen. This past season I didn't see any big rockets logos at the team shop. The did have a nice sized car magnet, but they say don't leave those on your car for over 48 hrs because it will take off the paint. hmmm I suggest continuing to look at eBay in the mean time in regard to those shorts. I don't remember seeing them at the teamshop but they might be there. I once saw a pair of the red and yellow alternate shorts on eBay. This is going to prove how much of a Rockets apparel nerd I am, but I will search eBay and save pictures of awesome Rockets apparel so that I can either make it myself, buy in the future or just keep for the heck of it on my laptop. So yes these shorts I saw on eBay this summer and saved on my computer. I'm planning to make a pair for myself.
