I'm a very happy camper. Thank you Denard Robinson! You showed poise under pressure and came through in the clutch. Instantly, you are one of my favorite players in college football. I'll be watching closely from now on. I'm soooooooo glad Notre Dame will lose this way. The 95-yard TD for them was a good thing because it makes the pain of losing worse. Tate Forcier, you were awesome in last year's game but it's time to transfer.
ND QB couldn't even keep the pass in bounds on his last ditch TD attempt. Didn't even give his receivers a chance.
One more: I think I actually like Notre Dame's new coach. That hasn't been true in a long time. I still want them to lose. It's part of my DNA as a Purdue grad.
Vick and VY both threw the ball down the field far better than Robinson. The guy is exciting and may be the new fave college football player, but let him prove himself before giving him his crown. I want to see if he can last a whole season with how many hits he takes.
Simply put, they can't afford to fire him. They wanted to, but the athletic department has no money and can't afford to pay him and another coach (they are still paying their last coach too). That's also why they are sticking around the Big12 for another year instead of bolting next year - they can't afford the higher penalties either.
Just tells you how dangerous Bama really is on offense... just wait till they get the reigning Heisman back..... it's actually really fun to watch though.
