It was great drama that the guy with the own goal also got the equalizing header about 5 minutes later.

Chelsea two dominant performances so far, 2 games in and already a 12 goal differential.

My first knee jerk reaction of the season...

Looks like Pool will have another 7th place finish this season. It's hard to clean up after Benitez's trash. The 2 American owners can die a violent death and go straight to hell. They're literally worse than the Clippers' owner.

Anyone getting up early to watch some EPL games?

I can honestly tell you, I have just absolutely fallen in love with the EPL. I am getting ready for this weekend opening matches for La Liga as well.

About a month and half ago, I started a thread about the EPL and soccer. I do not know what has happened to me, but I am consumed by soccer now. I subscribed to foxsoccer.tv and really look forward to the weekend matches. I know I still a novice in terms of knowledge, but wow, soccer is just such an awesome sport. I really cant believe I never gave it a chance, especially considering how into I am with the Rockets, Astros, and Texans. It is crazy.

So, what games are you guys watching this weekend. I will be up and early to watch Rovers vs Arsenal. I love the ESPN2 games because of the HD. I dont get FSC in HD & I cant get FSCplus. After that, I will not miss the Man U match. I plan on checking in on Chelsea and Stoke. Chelsea has been nothing short of dominant.

On Sunday, it is all about Aston Villa and Everton. I will want to check out Liverpool and West Brom.

Wow, Theo Walcott is on fire! I must admit, I am pretty impressed with Manchester United property, MB Diouf, on loan with Blackburn.

What an absolutely crazy result. Wigan Athletic was 0-2 with 0 goals scored and 10 scored against. I think that Tottenham is worn out. They have been playing in the Champions League qualifying games for the past couple of weeks.

One game left for today- Manchester United & West Ham

Wow that was a very sad win by Liverpool against a lowly West Brom. I'd be surprised if they can do better than last year's 7th place position.

I suspect next year's team might be even worse with Torres and Kuyt gone. No way in hell they'd want to stay in Liverpool and miss their prime years toying around in a non champions league team.

It would be Gerrard surrounded by B players.

    Goodbye Yao Ming :(

Anybody caught the ManU vs Everton game???

Epic comeback by Everton to go from 1-3 to tie the game. 2 goals in 2 minutes of extra time. Eat that ManUre fans!

What made the tie so sweet was the fact that the refs were OBVIOUSLY favoring Manchester. Think Houston vs Dallas '05.

Anyone know why the Everton manager was pissed at the end? I think the refs blew the whistle as Everton made their final attack ftw. This was an obviously rigged game (which failed with epic proportions).

Moyes was pissed because the ref blew the middle RIGHT in the middle of Everton's attack in Man U's half; that was bush league by the ref, but whoever took the shot for Everton did not seem to realize and he shot it right at Van der Sar.

Overall, it was a crazy last few minutes!

That's what I figured. I couldn't tell cus people were yelling at my place. Man that ref deserved to be demoted like they did to that one ref who messed up the goal line at the World Cup.

I wished the ref would have retaliated to Everton's manager and done something stupid. That way he would get more coverage and his bad reffing would be in the spotlight.

This ManU ass kissery is getting ridiculous. I don't like the big 3, but I hope Chelsea wins the league again.
