    I'm not a big football fan, so I really don't watch a whole lot of the NFL. But I'm glued to the tv for an NBA game.

    great comparison. topsdrop brought up a great point, she is on screen for 5-10 minutes total... so if they're going to pull my attention from the game, the least they can do is give us something to look at.

    her, and most other sideline reporters (including rich lord with the texans radio broadcast), very rarely give us pertinent information that otherwise couldn't be relayed by the commentators.

    so again i ask, in the tone of arrested development, her?

    Sidelines reporters are crucial to my understanding of the game. I want someone who knows how to interview players, give updates on injuries, and provide any additional info that may be necessary- all in eloquent and succinct fashion.

    If Andrea Kramer is switched out for some dumb eye candy who Brett Favre would crocktext, then my enjoyment of the game would be much lower. I'd probably switch the tv to America's Got Talent or something.
