These refs are horrible only 3 fouls on Lithuania and they are beating up on Argentina.

Also, all those Germans moving to Argentina about 60 years ago has really changed that country.

Difference in this game has been the three point shot. Lithuanians are on fire while Argentians are cold and that does not help Scola at all.

With the refs not calling anything for Scola, the best part bout this game is when they pan the camera to that hot Argentinian chick ;)

It's official Scola is Argentine Basketball. How about someone help? We were using hyperbole when we said he could do it alone. All his teammates were riding his coat tails when he was scoring half their points.

Too bad they don't have Ginobili for this tournament. I'm personally tired of watching Delfino attempting to play that role.

Rockets should get some Lithuanian players. They are some of the best white players out there.

Right now Argentina needs to bet all in in 2 or 3 plays to open up some 3 point shooters and they need to knock down at least 2 of those fast.
Otherwise Lithuania will pack the paint and as we´ve seen Lithuania can defend a lot more physycal than what the tournament has allowed so far. Bad game to change the refering standart.

Now we see how silly that Scola vs. Yao post player thread is. Scola is now receiving the same attention Yao receives on a nightly basis and showing why Yao is the far better player.

Lithuania is 8 for 9 from 3... with some very thought shots, on the other hand Argentina is 0 - 10 missing some open ones.

While i think Yao is the better player no doubt about it, with a team shootin 0 - 10 from 3 and with this kind of defense, Yao wouldn´t even receive the ball because the 2 players front defense.

What happened to Walter Herrmann, I know Manu and Nocioni are sitting out, but haven't heard about Herrmann.

Also, having the ability to play a true zone really limits how much Scola can help post up wise. If anything, Scola is going to have to get his points off the ball, but unfortunately Prigioni has head up his ass and Delfino thinks he is Kobe.

He has rennounced playing for the National team after 2006 WC and was never back since then.
No one complains about him as he lost his family while training with the NT and the next year on the same date his father also died.
