FIFA Delegation for USA World Cup 2018 or 2022 bid coming today.

    José de Jesús Ortiz's blog
Ching Likes Houston's Chances, gives praise to Reliant Stadium

Blog in Spanish I read before the one in English: Delegación de FIFA viene a Houston en visita crucial para aspiraciones mundialistas

 I personally would like the WORLD CUP in the U.S.A. in 2022 because it seems like it is already on its way to shared European hosts, and 22... ♪ is a magic number...

This would be awesome. I would be in my early thirties enjoying an amazing sport in it's biggest stage.

It seems like it's a fairly obvious choice to give one of the 2 to the US. Nothing has to be done to be ready. All infrastructure is in place. All stadiums are in place. No government funding would be necessary. It would be the biggest ever and probably the most profitable ever. 2022 is very very likely.

I still think it's going to be England in 2018. The founders of the game have only hosted once and it was in 1966. It's time for them to get another shot.

Win the bid to host or win the actual Cup? I think they'll win the bid.

Can't really say how they'll do at a Cup they might be hosting 8 years from now...though they have won the Cup 100% of the time they've hosted one.

Currently, it's for either 2018 or 2022. Likely, they'll drop out of the 2018 race soon as it's going to Europe.
