Ok, this is going to be good. Kwame wants to get into a discussion of comparative constitutional law with me.

Too bad I have to go to a golf tournament now, but I will take care of this when I get back.

I provided irrefutable proof and evidence to backup my claim. Everything I said was factual. I wouldn't want to get into a debate about it either if I were you.

I guess when you got nothing else to say, you either avoid the topic, change it, run away, and/or insult people.

I would say it was fun making you look silly, but so many people, including yourself, have done it so often that it's losing its comedic value.

Look outside that mosuqe and listen on tv, there are people who want his head.

Did you watch the interviews tonight, have you read his speech that he said at Daneil pearl's memorial, he is about rights of all the religions and even all the religions prospering not one more than the other from everything he says, listen, read his stuff, he never says anything negative towards christianity or judaism, but in the community center wants to include spaces of prayer for them and speaks of how they all have their rights and salvation towards god and neither are wrong but we are all worshiping the same god, this is all from him..i dont get how you just assume otherwise..

It's no longer a crime to deny the Holocaust in Germany?

We need more cartoonists who will cartoon Islam and the religion of tolerance. . .This guy is a hero and represents the virtues of free will. It cracks me up when idiots hold up signs saying: "to hell with freedom", and even worse idiots who deserve no life whatsoever defend this infringement of freedom. .

I am, but although it sometimes might not seem that way, I sometimes have to spend time on other things than the BBS.

But it is flattering to see that you are on the edge of your seat, awaiting enlightenment through my response.

Yeah, like searching every news outlet in the world trying to find every story of a Muslim somewhere killing someone.

so why don't you start a thread about this? it's on google news. never know it may mention about violence

    http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Glob...-Eid-al-Fitr-and-the-end-of-Ramadan/Indonesia

How 5 countries celebrate Eid al-Fitr and the end of Ramadan

Eid al-Fitr began at sunset Thursday, when the crescent of a new moon first showed over the Middle East. Eid is an Arabic word meaning "festivity," while Fitr means "break fasting." The three-day feast celebrates the end of the a month-long period of Ramadan's fasting and prayer. While traditions don't vary much between Sunnis and Shiites, customs vary greatly from country to country. Here is how five countries ring in Eid al-Fitr.

To keep this brief as I do not have much time, yes, there are a few more restrictions on speech in Germany than in the US, and it is debatable whether that should be the case or not. But it obviously has to do with the country's history. Some things are more offensive in one country than in another. Nobody cares in Germany if you talk bad about the Thai king. Nobody cares in Thailand if somebody burns an American flag. Denying the holocaust is not punishable by law in the USA. This does not mean that neither of these may be sanctioned by law under certain circumstances in one of these countries. And it does not mean that one country has free speech overall, and the other one does not. It just means that different countries, based on their history, may have different "flavors" of free speech.

If you want to equate drawing a cartoon to denying the holocaust by asking "why isn't he being given an award", that just shows where you stand.

Why does trustme start a thread about American soldiers supposedly having committed crimes...and not about violence of Islamist terrorists?

Why do you not start threads about their terrorist acts?

Why would I start a thread about some Islamic holiday? They can celebrate what they want, congratulations. I'm not starting a thread about christmas either.
