Pretty nice pickup for the Ravens , first time you legitimately can say their offense will be better than their D.
He named Washington as a preferred destination as well as Oakland. Why Washington did not pursue this guy is a huge mystery to me. They probably have the worst set of wide receivers in the league.
I hate when people post a highlight of a player and seem to sum of all of a players skills in that highlight. Looking at this video, it makes Brunell look like Montana. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IKCvtoFqWOQ?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IKCvtoFqWOQ?fs=1&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> BTW this video brings a tear to my eye. What a heartstopping game. Hate those Cowboys.
Flacco went from having no one to throw to besides an old Derrick Mason to having an old Derrick Mason, Anquan Boldin, TJ Housh, and Donte Stallworth. A one year turn around from having among the worst receiving cores in the NFL to arguably the best. Great job by the Ravens, I expect big things from them this season.
Who says they didn't pursue? I'm sure they had an offer on the table the same as Baltimore. Only thing that would've gotten TJ to come to Washington would've been a long term deal, which he isn't worth. As far as Washington's WR personell, it seems to me that the coaching staff and upper management is content right now with the WRs. In preseason I've noticed Santana Moss is actually a WEAPON with a decent QB throwing to him. We also have a couple of rookies that don't seem no worse then Devin Thomas/Malcolm Kelly have been. Besides, with a change at the QB position it will make Cooley more of a threat at TE.
"The Vikings need to go down there and hit that town like Katrina." <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wM-A34J0VXs?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wM-A34J0VXs?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I heard he played okay in the preseason. I love football but I'm the type to stop watching preseason once the starters go out so I can't give you an accurate write up on him. I do know that he is the 3rd string QB behind Matt Ryan and Chris Redman
Im sure they did pursue, but if you were TJ, wouldn't you choose Baltimore as well? Much better chance to win the ring with the Ravens than with the skins
yeah but that was so he could get paid... every team was offering the same (vet minimum). Dude was going to make 7 mil regardless of who signed him
I'm not summing up his whole career I'm showing Moes a certain play... Nice vid though. Never seen it before.
Does anybody think Vincent Jackson will actually sit out the whole year? I mean, he is out for at least the first 6 games now, San Diego appears willing to let him go but other teams are saying his contract demands are too much. I think we might actually see him sit out unless the Chargers passing game begins to struggle.
Ahh yes we play you guys Sunday. I'm going to a bar here in South Carolina. Sad thing is even though we are close to Atlanta it will be us 3 Falcon fans against about 60 Steeler fans and they wave the terrible towel in there lol.
Haha very true Should be an interesting game even despite the fact that we're starting, gulp, Dennis Dixon at QB!
