    Actually, Columbus, OH has a good indie rock scene since it's a college town. They call it the Austin of the Midwest.

    I don't know about post-rock scene though. Sorry.

    In 2008, a guy I know moved his family to Georgia. He was very excited about it. They were back in Houston within 12 months. All he said was "Georgia sucks" and that he plans on living Texas forever now.

    The only thing worth going to Ohio for is the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Go see it then get the hell out of that dump. The entire state looks as depressing as Lake Charles.
