Man... he has UPS! he is really smooth for such a young player. hes already had two very good very solid games w/ barely and college ball.... sorry to say i wouldve much rather have swifty for a 4 than mo taylor. hope he proves me wrong but i htink stromile will be awesome. tahts why i guess a bunch of other people and i posted goofy posts like lets trade for him on draft day. wishful thinking i guess...heh i really like stromile though. ive talked to people who met him and they say he is actually pretty humble. i wish he wouldve stayed at LSU. they couldve been really good. ------------------ --TEX
Yep, Swift has impressed so far. Did you catch that windmill dunk against GS? Damn, for a guy who's just under 6'10', he's got serious hops! I was looking forward to seeing a lot of him today against the Raps, but he barely played in the 2nd half, they practically had Austin and Harrington in there for the entire half. Stromile should be a fine player though. Probably won't get much recognition this year unless Othella gets traded, but he will come around. btw, who do you guys think will take ROY? Is Martin a shoe-in? Azim da Dream ------------------ We don't live for the destination. We live for the journey. http://www.clutchtown.com
i think martin will, but i also htnk that a sleeper like mihm, swift, miles, or even stevenson, if he surprises the world, might take it. but martin is hte most polished at the time.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Desmond Mason take ROY. ive always really liked him alot. quentin richardson and miles could also surprise. i hope they actually play miles. i hope they dont let him sit on the bench. martin is a good choice for ROY. swift could also surprise if they play him. martin and swift have so mcuh potential though. martin is like a defensive rasheed wallace w/ not quite as many offensive skills, and is much bulkier. swift is like a early days kemp/garnett hybrid. he can jump out of the gym. ------------------ --TEX
