Go White Boy!!! Go White Boy!!! Go!!! Born and Raised in Texas. I became a true Rockets fan after some very late night west coast games with last second wins. Sleepy Floyd, Buck Johnson, Bullard, Carl Herrera, Larry Smith, Mad Max, Otis Thorpe and Dream, the good old days.
I was a Rockets fan before Yao Ming was born. But I found this board after the Ming draft b/c I wanted to know more about Ming. I was still quite skeptical about Ming in June. Now I'm a believer! So, no, I'm not a Rocket-bandwaggoner. But I am a Ming-bandwaggoner.
ANZ. White,Black are not Nationalities! Asian is refering to a Continent! Latino is refering to having Latin Blood! What were you trying to show with this Poll?
I don't remember exactly when I stared visiting the BBS, but I had been visiting the main page at least a year. I want to say I staretd visiting a little after the season, for us, ended. I had visited just avout every day until Clutch put his thing where you must register to enter. I think I registered shortly after that, but I lurked for a good while. Maybe a month or so. Then I started posting. I've gone for the Rockets seriously for about 3 years. (4 if you count this upcoming season season.) That's about it. (due to outside influences, this took me about 30 minutes to type. This means absolute nothing, but...uh...yeah.)
I think thread starter aznlincolnpark has an extra bone in his head, that's why he made this post... There, I have one of every color
I should be ashame of myself that I became a Rox fan after Scottie Pippen joined the Rox. P.S. I am quite sure Yao Ming will not whine like Pippen KH
My mother is Irish/American and my father is Mexican/American, so I have no idea what I am. You choose! I do know I've been a die hard Rockets fans since 1993!
It is both. It is "American" which is not a race, nor language. It's a nationality. But, Chinese can encompass three things...but I only listed one in my earlier post. Chinese can be a language (Mandarin), a race (Sinitic branch of the Sino-Tibetan family; lineage), and nationality (China dynasties; loyalties). Just like Latino is not a race, nor nationality. It is Mexican that is a race, language, and nationality. I love history and anthropology!
Yetti, Actually, "Latino" means, a Hispanic living in the USA; Latin-American. (I should know; hint, hint). But, you got the other two parts right. By the way, this poll did NOT "offend me" at all. I just enjoy talking about languages and origins.
